I help rugby union and league players improve their diet. You'd be a great fit for my program if you want:
Coaching that is rugby specific rather than the rest of the gym-bro plans on the internet
To feel fuelled and energised during training instead of feeling like you are about to fall asleep
To develop your knowledge of sports nutrition and reduce the confusion you currently experience
To be supported with ongoing accountability and communication
Easy to cook recipes that are built to your nutrient needs so you can lose fat and gain muscle
"I couldn't have asked for anything more"
Hayden’s program has been great for teaching me about macros and what’s actually needed to have a balanced diet as a rugby player - Dante Santos

"“The main benefit of Hayden’s program is how you you are always present for your clients. You were always available when I sent you a message and made time for calls" - Lautaro Rocco
“I’ve already recommended you to other players"
“Accessing the knowledge that you have has been a game changer, you always had solutions to work around things like budget and schedule” - Joseph Hennings

You have tried diets in the past with little success. It was never built around your schedule, and it wasn't specific to rugby
You can never stay consistent with your diet. You have one good week where you are organised, but can never keep this up
You get confused by the jumble of information on social media and don't know who to listen to
You struggle with having good ideas of meals to cook, and find that most of the recipes on the internet are way too complicated for rugby players
"I wanted to gain some lean muscle before pre-season, and that I did"
Without the help from Hayden, I wouldn’t have had any idea on how to do so. It was great to develop my understand of of how food effect performance - Hamilton Taia
"Hayden was great and I really appreciated him being responsive"
My main goal was to enhance my knowledge on how to better structure and adjust my diet based on activity levels, and I definitely achieved that - Zane Artesi
"Hayden helped me hit my goals and maintain accountability"
The main benefit has been my energy has increased immensely, meaning I can train harder, allowing me to get stronger, fitter and faster - Ethan Simpson
For the last four years, my singular focus has been learning how to best help rugby union and league players improve their diet.
My journey began with 4.5 years of university study, completing both a Bachelor and Master of Applied Science (First Class Honours) at the University of Otago in New Zealand.
Since graduating, I’ve gained experience with professional teams. In 2022, I was an intern sports nutritionist with the Blues Super Rugby team in Auckland. In 2023, I served as head nutritionist for both North Harbour and Counties Manukau in New Zealand’s NPC competition. In 2024, I worked as an intern sports nutritionist for the Sydney Roosters NRL team in Australia.
Over this time, I’ve also supported hundreds of rugby union and league players privately through my ‘Pathway to Professional’ program.
